I think it depends on your body. They would look awful on me because of the high waist.

I wouldn't wear cropped jeans with a waist that comes up to my nipples, because I dont like them.. I feel that I would look silly in them. But I am not YOU.

There is no such thing as a standard pale blue - all jeans are slightly different in colour, some colours are nicer than others.

Each high waist is different.

Some fabrics are visibly thicker, less stretchy and more solid. Others are visibly softer, thinner and probably less expensive.

Ankle grazer is just a name. A few centimetres on the length makes a big difference, especially if the end is not fitted.

I like them a lot more in the other photos posted! I think they look great on the 2nd one in particular- go try them on and see. I find high waists so uncomfortable and make me look fatter than I am 🤷‍♀️ but I know loads of people swear by them.

I love them. The waist is too high for me but other than that they're great.

I have similar and one of my favourite outfits is a T-shirt, trainers or converse, and a blazer.

Or strappy heels, cute blouse or tank, and a blazer or leather jacket.

They also work great with ballet flats!

I like them. I like ankle grazers and the straight leg is flattering on most.

Also for those who like or even dislike wide legged. I love this look. Cropped and flared can be super cute for spring.

I love them! And I like New Look jeans in general, I find most of the denim really soft. I've got their bootcut version in mid blue.

I do like skinny jeans but as I'm slim on the bottom with big boobs and shoulders they make me look like Max Wall so the wider versions suit better.

High waist is not normal waist. Regular rise is usually about 9.5 inches. These look much higher.

I like the colour and love the leg but unless you’re going to wear a longer top, the high rise looks awful across the stomach.

I bought a really nice soft pair like this from Phase Eight but I struggle to style them to be honest as they're a really difficult length - not cropped but not full length. DH asked if I'd washed them too hot as they didn't meet my ankles

Personally, the pair in your OP are too pale for my liking. The instagram pic and later web pic both show a darker denim which looks nicer.
I love an ankle grazer for the summer so I'd ignore the comments about looking like you've had a growth spurt. Although I do prefer either a raw edge or rolled hems on my ankle skimmers, a straight seamed edge looks too smart for the look I'm going for when I wear cropped jeans (it's not of a casual look for me).

I don't really like then @bridgeobertroubledwater but I have definitely seen peoole wear that sort of cropped jean.
I cannot stand skinny jeans these days either, give me either a nice semi fitted bootcut or even a wide leg.

I like ankle grazer jeans and trousers, cant stand trousers that come over the shoe, I think it looks clumpy and unstylish, unless they're floor length wide leg trousers/jeans.

I think jeans are a massive struggle, they're made of rubbish material these days for a start.
