When you get awful items on Vinted! What to do!

I am a newbie on Vinted and most recently have bought four accessories (priced £25, £35, £32 and £80 on there from four different sellers.

Two of the items have been great, the sellers were lovely and I have given the sellers great reviews.

The other two – not so much.

One was clearly not “new” as advertised. The other has been photographed misleadingly. Both were very rude when I politely raised my issues with them after receiving.

I am finding it impossible to leave reviews before saying the purchase was OK which it wasn’t or else start a claim that I know will be long winded and stressful.

I’ve never had these problems with EBay and their review system was also easier to navigate. I found both of those two sellers on Vinted very confrontational in their approach to me, actually rude, again not something I’ve encountered on EBay.

Just venting I guess … Obviously I shall be much more careful in future ...

A hole is a hole and IMO completely devalues the item. Especially resale price.

Agreed, hence I refunded and left them with it as a goodwill gesture, had I paid for the postage return, I would still have been able to sell it as it was a nice jacket, but that’s why I have many 5* 😄.

I will return when I have sorted things, and let you know how I got on. Might take a week or so 👋
