Are these the jeans that are in fashion ?

Seen these jeans all over instagram

I've been told skinny jeans /slim are out
Is this what I'm meant to be wearing ?

I don't really think there's a particular jean style we are 'meant' to be wearing. Looser shapes have definitely been in for a few years now but they'll go back out again too. Fashion goes round in cycles and it's a business - wider bottoms means people start buying new, tighter tops as well.

Jeans are a total classic, whatever style they are in. They've been around for decades, they are super practical whilst still having an air of coolness.

I actually think fashion wise these days jeans read quite formal. Very fashionable people are not wearing them so much at the moment at all, they are wearing sports bottoms (joggers, leggings etc) or other trousers in non denim.

Yes, according to stylebyClaireLopez who is my go to on instagram. I don't think I can be bothred, though. I'm pregnant anyway and maternity jeans or indeed maternity anything don't seem to keep up with the latest trends.

Well that's definitely made my morning as I have all the styles & they suit me best and I didn't actually stop wearing them anyway

I read the Vogue article and they were more of a straight leg tight, than a skinny. The trends are also suggesting a lower rise than the previous higher waisted skinny. That's not going to look good with the never ending desire for cropped tops unless you are super toned/skinny.

Obviously everyone should just were what flatters, I only have two pairs of jeans a flared bootcut type which are super flattering and some indigo Levis, classic rise straight. They are exactly like the Vogue ones. So I'm back in fashion 😁 for now..
