Wrinkly / crepey neck

I’m mid 40s and have recently started to notice my neck is looking wrinkly / crepey, despite daily moisturising (currently an E45 one).
So to try and prevent further deterioration, can anyone please recommend a good moisturiser for the neck / chest area?

All I know is mum had a crepey neck, older sister has one.
so I started Vaseline and now noticed younger sister has crepey neck too.
I made sure I wasn’t kidding myself by asking my brutally honest daughter!

same genetics, we sisters are very similar otherwise.

I’ve just got some blue Nivea in my latest online shop. £3.55 for a massive tub!
So I’ll try that initially, and see how I get on.

I quite like the prai cream but it's quite expensive

I use evening primrose oil most nights on my neck when I remember

Another one for astral, I've been using it for about a month now and it's definitely helping with the crepey neck and chest, and it's smells so good.

I've been using the prai cream for a couple of weeks now, it's nice but no change yet. Has anyone reversed the wrinkles and managed to tighten theirs up at all? Mine is like lines of loose skin going from my chin down to my neck.

I’ve definitely noticed a difference since using the blue Nivea for nearly a month now. The crepey-ness I’d noticed from certain angles (thanks Teams 😖) has definitely reduced / pretty much gone away.
I still have those rings on my neck (which I assume are just an aging thing?) but I’m pleased with the crepey improvement. And for £3.55!!

I have a tin of nivea, perhaps I'll try that at night and prai in the morning and see where I get to, it's just so loose and wrinkly 😬

I hope no-one minds me bumping an older thread but this came up on a Google search.

I've been taking marine collagen supplements and it's really made a difference. Still not perfect so I'm going to give the Vaseline a go, thanks for that tip :)

What brand do you use ?

GrannyWeatherwaxsHatpin · 02/07/2024 11:34

It's called Superself: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Marine-Collagen-Supplement-2400mg-Hyaluronic/dp/B083KNQJW8

I've also heard good things about the Ancient + Brave one (it is more expensive but it seems to last for 40 days rather than the Superself which lasts for 30)
