Swimming Costume - Easy to put on and get off

Going on holiday with DM who is 66 and we will be swimming. She is finding it harder to get her swimming costume on and off and says it puts her off wanting to go in the pool or sea. She also would prefer one that covers her up a bit more.

I thought maybe the shorts that go to above the knee but then all the tankini style tops you pull over your head and she might struggle with that.

Has anyone seen anything that might help, thanks!

See if you can get a halterneck style, maybe the kind that ties at the neck. You just pull the ties over your head or undo them completely, then all the way down. It's easier than wriggling shoulders out from a traditional one piece. I use them for sea swimming. You can also get suits that have whole arms and zip down the front.

I am bumping this as looking for exactly the same for my mother, her shoulder hurts too much to put a normal swimsuit on and off.
Will try halter neck as pp suggested but is there anything looser?

How about a full zip rash vest?

I use this for outdoor swimming. The body is very thin neoprene, the sleeves are ordinary swimsuit fabric.

Decathlon do a short sleeved version here. This one is all thin neoprene., but there are many variations of long/short sleeves, Lycra/neoprene and long/short zip if you Google.

Or maybe a Front zip swimsuit which you could step out of?

Thank you @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads zip up the front is an excellent idea, those links very helpful I shall discuss with the mother!

In my experience (and I have significant issues in one arm which make dressing/undressing an issue) front zip costumes are really difficult as you have to rotate your shoulder forward in a very unnatural way. The easiest costumes to get on and off are the really simple ones with a deep scoop back as they just push down your arm. The Lands End tugless ones are good coverage and support for instance
