Anyone know this brand? I hate taking tablets but these seem small enough, and £20 for a year's supply is a bargain.

I buy that brand, but I wouldn’t touch a multivitamin. I’d break it down into what you actually need and get that,

Thanks @DustyLee123. What do you mean you wouldn't touch a multivitamin?
I thought that would take care of everything. I mean, how am I supposed to know what I need. The GP is not going to do blood tests. Also, taking only what I need, if I was to work that out, would mean several different tablets, won't it?

What are your symptoms?
For lack of energy I take vit B complex from Boots.
For achy joints I take omega 3 from Nutravita.
For my bones I take D3 and K2 from Nutravita.
If you want to take a multivitamin, do, but if you’re eating well you won’t need a lot of those vitamin/minerals and you’ll just pee them out.

You need to check what your levels are of everything and then decide if you are on the low side (not necessarily deficient) in any of them

GP might agree to do a random selection of iron, vit d, b12, folic acid, magnesium etc but often they only do it for a purpose

You can get private tests but they're not cheap

Then you can work out if you really do need extra supplements.

I would worry whats in something thats 20 quid for a year to be honest.

I didnt see this about the GP not doing the tests, no Im not surprised

So can you afford some private tests?

I take a multivitamin, just a cheap one from Boots. Had blood tests recently for something and my low iron levels have increased so it does work. I’m thinking of adding Omegas as I don’t eat fish, but that’s all.

A multivitamin can't hurt, but when you say "for menopause" what do you mean?

If you don't like tablets you could take something drinkable like Berocca.
