I have always thought that a bit of peach fuzz is perfectly normal.
Stupidly, I looked at myself in a 10 times magnified mirror. Then I decided I was going to remove upper lip hair and a bit of peach fuzz.
My mother and my sister both said it's totally unnecessary. My sister is in the position where she feels she really has to remove dark facial hair and she said "why would you put yourself through that if you don't have to".
Anyway - after doing it, I now notice it growing back. So I won't do that again.
Re full sun, it seems to me that you'd have to catch a really unfortunate angle and probably have a brilliant camera in order to see that?
But it is normal and human. I think we're probably getting used to people who are airbrushed in real life.
I have a neighbour who just looks absolutely magazine perfect even when you sit next to her on the sofa. She spends hours on her appearance and a lot of money too. She obviously enjoys it so that's great.
But I have to stop myself feeling inadequate whenever I see her, and realise that she has basically created an Instagram-perfect version of herself.
I feel like a bit of a plum, because I saw something on QVC, years ago, and they said oh, you don't realise how many imperfections you have on your skin until you get a really great magnifying mirror. And now I'm thinking to myself, no one is ever going to see you in that magnification and nor are you....
The only reason I got the magnifying mirror was because I was looking for an folding mirror and it happens to come with a small fold out section that does 10 times on the side.
Maybe I should just put some masking tape over that and forget it's there!
Sorry, that was long.
