Hair help..

My daughter is getting married in May . I have shoulder length straight hair with a fringe and long layers but I'm worried about it looking too casual. Will heated rollers give body rather than curl? I just dont want to waste money as I don't want curls or a news reader look if you know what I mean. TIA

Very large curlers, heated or not, will give body and perhaps a slight wave. When we were teenagers DSis, who had curly hair, set hers with those tins from concentrated juice drinks. The orange juice tins our DM bought in my home country gave her straight hair with good body; the small lemonade tins (for still lemonade) gave her wavy hair.

TL;DR It’s about the size, not the heat.

That heated Revlon brush would probably also work and might be cheaper

I have the revolt heated brush and I don't find a big difference tbh

Have you tried backcombing the crown(and wherever else you want volume)and setting on big velvro rollers, it's cheap and easy, can be held all day with a good hairspray too.
