Body butter/moisturiser for dry sensitive skin?

Looking for a nice body butter or/and moisturiser. I am recovering from surgery and since being in hospital my skin is really dry. I want to treat myself to a nice body butter, mist smell nice (not too strong) and be good for sensitive skin. Ideally as natural as possible. Any recommendations?

You could try pure shea butter or cocoa butter (for a nicer smell).

I love shea butter and buy it in bulk and decant into little pots as lipbalm, or intense body mosturiser.

Came onto here to say Shea Butter. If you want a luxury one then Kiehls have a whipped version but I buy it raw and add my own oils (coconut and a bit of olive or vitamin e and an essential oil) to it and whip myself however just pure shea butter will do the trick.

You can get an ordinary drink skin cream and add vitamin e (the thick pure one) into it or some bio oil.

wow! How do you whip it? What's the consistency like when you do this? Sounds grand.

I usually make a rugged bain-marie (bowl over pot of low heated water) and empty all the firm ingredients in to melt. Once melted I put it into the container I want to use and then once set bit firmer I just stir it to whip it up.
A bit ambitious to call my version whipped 😁 and it's touch and go as to if I get the consistency I like but it's always usable. And skin feels amazing.

@TheRealKatnissEverdeen I've got a ton of shea butter and some almond oil to hand, plus lots of different essential oils. Would that work do you think?

Weleda skin food comes in a body butter as well as a tube of cream. It's really rich and moisturising and is very good for sensitive skin.
Or how about Neals Yard?

I was going to say Weleda or L'occitaine Almond body lotion

I use body shop mango or olive butter….absolutely wonderful.

Lavera Basis Sensitiv creme - excellent, natural and non oily but very moisturising

My DD has really sensitive skin, sometimes even baby stuff will give her a little rash. We love Moo Goo stuff for her - and I love their skincare now too.
