Another wedding guest question!

I know and understand that guests don't wear white/cream.
Is this suit OK?
Would wear bright pink top, shoes, bag. Or orange or green.
Edit to add the colour is a goldy champagne.

I think it's fine, colour-wise - looks like it would crease to me though!

I guess it depends on the bride but with a flashy colour for top and accessories, it should be fine. And of course if the bride will be wearing a dress and not a suit.

I think it's fine and looks nice.

Very good point... the bride is wearing a traditional white/ivory dress.

I would see how it photographs with a flash in person. When we were wedding planning, the wedding planning groups were full of upset brides where guests had worn champagne/pale gold /beige outfits that looked white in their wedding pictures..

I think some of those brides have drank too much "but it's MY DAY" Kool Aid.

They've had a lovely day with their loved ones, nobody has turned up wearing a wedding gown, and they're annoyed at guests wearing light coloured wedding guest outfit because it looks white in a photograph? Do they think friends and family will forget whose wedding it was because Great Aunty Nora wore a beige jacket?

I understand why you're giving the advice by the way. It's just sad to me how fragile and self-centred people get where weddings are concerned.

I completely agree, but I think for the sake of not upsetting someone, it's easy enough to avoid wearing anything that photographs a bit white for one day (especially when buying something new anyway). I would never have thought of it before, and indeed I do not care that some very pale pink and very pale mint greens dresses look a bit white in some of my own wedding pictures.

I wouldn’t, it’s too close to cream/ivory.
