For years a I bought 2-packs of Debenhams T-shirt bras for £25 in different colours (black, white, nude, nave, red, pink etc) and now they've gone and changed them to padded/moulded cups! I am a menopausal G cup I DON'T NEED ANY EXTRA PADDING.

The M&S equivalent appears to me a 'minimiser' which is also not what I want...

So non-negotiable requirements as follows:

G cup
Underwired
Non-padded
Good support
T-shirt bra (no seams or lace)
Range of colours
Less than £20 per bra

Surely that's not a lot to ask?

Please, please help me! Thank you in advance kind people of S&B 😀

@londontown12 - just googled what bralettes are as never heard of them before. You are tiny though.....surely us larger ladies just end up with boobs around our waists?

Londontown12 · 28/03/2024 10:00

@dreamingofsun no they have some really fab support ones in John Lewis !! X

Diggetydawg · 28/03/2024 10:25

These from next. I'm a 32G and bought the Debenhams ones for years but these are better. I have both styles of non padded.

Elomi do a great t shirt style bra possibly look for them in the sale or eBay or Vinted

Divasaurus · 28/03/2024 19:48

Fantasie bras are incredible and would meet all your criteria except price - but maybe you could score some cheaper on websites like EBay? M&S sometimes have Sparks discounts but I’m not sure if these are only valid on their own brand underwear.

Ilovemyshed · 28/03/2024 19:50

Try Tesco or Sainsburys

Postslikethese · 28/03/2024 19:52

These every single day of the week. I'm almost sad to share this because if you all get onto them there might be none left for me! They are the most comfortable, supportive bras ever and because they're cotton, they're great for summer

I was surprised to find that Ann Summers bras are actually really good! I'm a 34G too and bought several in the sales last July for around a fiver each (but many are only £15 full price) and they are all going strong many wah and wears on.

Sorry OP, you didn't say you were a 34G, not sure where I got that from!

Papergirl1968 · 28/03/2024 22:08

Not for the Op as she wants underwired but I highly recommend these from Asda. Very comfy, removable inserts and a bargain at three for £15.
i would guess I’m about a 42 or 44 DD and the XXL fit fine.
I’m mid 50s and very overweight and I’ll never wear another underwired bra. Bloody uncomfortable things digging in!

PLEASE help me find the perfect every day bra!
Notellinganyone · 28/03/2024 23:03

I honestly think if you’re a G cup you need to spend more than £20. I’m 34H/36G depending on style and I buy Prima Donna bras. They cost a fortune but are absolutely worth it in terms of support and a flattering silhouette. I find even the mid price brands like Fantasie, Elomi etc are not as good.

Jelliclecats · 28/03/2024 23:04

Freya are really very good.

Toooldforthis36 · 01/04/2024 09:09

Another bravissimo vote - watch for any sales but realistically you’d have to up your budget and it’s one item worth the extra cash imo!

Pinkprescription · 27/03/2024 18:50

I am a G cup with a narrow back. I can assure you this is not a minimiser

But I do prefer Freya's Deco

This is my absolute favourite bra and I was about to post the same link. It's very similar to Freya Idol but I actually prefer this and at £20 it's half the price.

2024horizons · 01/04/2024 11:35

Check out Bella Rossa Lingerie, she does a catalogue of bras from the main outlets, Freya, etc and others for larger busts. I have used her services and was impressed.

gingercat02 · 01/04/2024 11:36

Not under £20 but that seems unlikely. These are my work bras really comfy and tick all the other boxes

suburburban · 01/04/2024 11:39

Triumph and Panache are good

Usually more than £20

I think you pay for what you get

mummysquasher · 01/04/2024 11:44

Following with interest!

WillimNot · 01/04/2024 11:46

Look on Vinted for ex Debenhams stock. I got a brand new bodysuit for under my wedding dress, was ex shop stock from Debenhams, cost me £5.

Otherwise, they Boux Avenue, I swear by their bras.

Octomingo · 01/04/2024 11:49

I'm a 30E or F sometimes.
Fantasie fusion work for me. And panache.
Bravissimo have sales on too, so could be worth ordering a few to try.

MidnightPatrol · 01/04/2024 13:54

I like the Figleaves Smoothing Sweetheart Full Cup Underwired T-Shirt Bra

Incredibly comfortable.
