Skin/retinoids

I am trying to get hold of retinoid gel in the uk, which needs a prescription. I have signed up to dermatica but the package they offer me does not include retinoid cream and there is no way to specifically request it. They did give it to me a few years ago when I was asking for acne treatment but now I requested anti ageing it's not being offered.
Does anyone know where I can easily get topical retinoids in the UK?

Hi Op I recently had this too. I also signed up to dermatica hoping to get the tretinoin prescription. My skin is blemish prone but I also am starting to suffer from fine lines and sun damage and looking older all of a sudden (I’m 40 next month). They prescribed me adapalene and niacinimide. I had signed up for the cheap trial month and cancelled it out of frustration. However I really am unhappy with my skin currently and want to do something about it so I went on their Instagram and said that I had really wanted tretinoin and needed something a bit stronger. They advised me to email them and request the change. I did and it took about a week for them to get back to me (chased once and they eventually replied saying they’d been very busy) but they have changed me to a tretinoin formula so I’m happy with that.
This was my exchange with them on Instagram and the email address you need to contact them. Good luck.

I would just message Dermatica @wrinklier and ask for a change to your formulation to include tretinoin. They should respond within a few days and change no problem.

Thanks, I was chatting to Dermatica by email, but then they cancelled my account and I haven't heard from them since. It's just all a bit of an automated process, definitely not a "consultation" as they call it.

I have started again with Skin and Me and the process appears to be exactly the same, i.e. you sign up, pay, then they tell you what they're going to send you.

However, they have picked products I don't need or want and the tretinoin is such a low-dose, and I have used it in the past and started at a higher dose without an issue. I have sent them an email though and they might listen to my request, hopefully.

I use skin+Me and they prescribed me Tretinoin, use can use my link to get your first month free. The only places I know are skin&me and dermatica, you can buy stuff if amazon but it's generally a much higher percentage and I found skin&me great for prescribing it at a gradually increasing strength.

I have tret from Dermatica, just said I wanted it for anti aging and uneven skin tone. Mine has niacinamide (sp?) in it, and did have azelaic acid but that got taken out as I seemed to be reacting to it.

OP I would advise you to send a query to their customer service stating that you have used tretinoin in the past and would like a higher starting dose.

The main reason people use these services is to get their hands on tretinoin, so it's a bit weird that Dermatica wouldn't even put it in your prescription.

I've used Dermatica for years and the service is really good. The initial consultation does seem automated but if I ever have any queries I just contact them and they come back to me fairly quickly with answers. I've changed my formula multiple times after contacting them and it's never an issue.
