Are these spots or rosacea?

I have noticed a tiny few on both cheeks, intermittently for the past month, but barely there.
But this has happened to one side of my face and a tiny bit on my nose in the past week alone. It goes from a cluster on the apple of my left cheek into a curve near the side of my eye.
Only changes are I am on holiday in a cottage, weather cold and rainy/damp and using different pillows and water to wash with. No other changes. No booze, no new products, etc.
I am 50 and 1.5 years since last period, no other hormone issues. It was there a little before i came away on holiday but very slight. I have wondered if it could be central heating.

I had something similar but no where near as bad last winter if I had had alcohol and been in doors with radiators on.

I usually have very good skin and haven't changed diet, make up, cleanser or anything else. Any ideas?

if it helps, this is the side of my face that I sleep on.

It does look like rosacea to me. I get it but closer to my nose. I find Soolantra is good - it’s prescription only but I get it from The Independent Pharmacy rather than try to see a doctor. You fill in a consultation and send photos and they recommend a treatment.

I'm not a dermatologist, but it certainly looks/sounds like it could be rosacea. I was recently diagnosed with it after 7 months of going back and forth to the GP and them giving me one cream after another that didn't clear up my spotty, red facial rash until they told me they had run out of options and didn't know what it was. I paid to see a private dermatologist and had a diagnosis and a prescription within 15 mins. If it is rosacea then you need metronidazole gel. I've been using it for a week and it's working!

Thank you.
I just did a bit of reading and it says you can get it in the eyes leading to vision loss. Please tell me this is rare!

I started with Rosacea in my late 20s, and it became progressively worse. By late 30s, I'd tried every antibiotic, every prescribed cream, etc., and only Roaccutane (3 separate courses) sorted it. I'm in my 60s now, have good skin but get the very red flushing when I'm warm or have eaten anything spicy. NEVER had a problem with my eyes, so I think it must be rare.

I have it in my eyes. I believe the risk of sight loss is only because if you are treated with steroid drops, this increases the chance of cataracts. I've been on the treatment for 10 years and do have the beginning of a cataract in one eye. I'm 57.

The diagnosis period was horrible - mostly it's on the inside of the eyelids but I had blisters on my eyeballs which lead to photosensitivity. All I could do then was lie down in a dark room.

However I believe it is rare and some people manage on other treatments, including thorough cleaning, low dose daily antibiotic and/or lubricating drops.

@AllLopsided Oh my, I am sorry to hear that, the diagnosis period, I can imagine, would have been exhausting. I hope things have clamed down now and you have the best treatment.

Thanks for the help everyone:)
