Can anyone recommend an organic heat protectant?

I had cancer and lost most of my hair then when it came back it came back frizzy. I've decided to start straightening it which I didn't have to do before. But I'm guessing that will damage it? I don't really want to be spraying carciongens near my face and mouth so wondered if anyone can recommend any organic heat protectants? If it was in non-spray form that would be even better although these seem hard to come by. Not sure I want to be ingesting anything that isn't food...

Not quite what you have asked for but I have a fragrance allergy and have been using this which isn't a spray...

Seems to work well. Fragrances are toxic and some are carcinogenic and it's not a spray which ticks that box (important to me also as I have multiple allergies so get where you are coming from there)...

I'd also just add that "organic" (or "natural") doesn't mean much when trying to work out what is carcinogenic or not. Some natural and organic substances can be carcinogenic. Some "chemicals" are known to get completely safe. Some natural substances are known to be carcinogenic.

That's a good point on the carcinogens but i suppose I would still tend to believe that organic products would have to try pretty hard to be less toxic than standard products given ingredients have to be listed and the types of people buying these products are typically quite well informed (more so than me at this stage I realise!). I'll check out the naked range!

Aveda straightening cream? Not cheap but I find their stuff lasts a long time.

and 💐for overcoming cancer. All the best to you
