What are THE softest pyjamas

I’ve realised my favourites are washed to death, soft and cosy and also falling apart. I like natural fabrics, not sweaty fleece or viscose or polyester. Need some super soft replacements!

I've found Primark 98% cotton pyjamas to be very good.
Very cheap at £9 a set with nice, gently cuffed trousers.

The huge toilet bags with perfume and other nice things are very nice too..dh always asks if he can have an extra one for women too. 😅

My partner has done the same for me - I love the perfume.

Viscose is a natural fabric

Actually, viscose is semi-synthetic due to the processing. Most people mean silk, cotton, linen when talking natural as they’re breathable.

OP, how about 100% cotton cyber jammies?

NWnature · 14/03/2024 11:13

I just got some Skims ones for hospital and they are incredibly soft. Don’t love buying into the Kardashian hype- but they do seem quality

cactidream · 14/03/2024 11:49

The white company!

Dee1224 · 14/03/2024 18:25

I have two pairs of Superdry pj bottoms in very soft brushed cotton - I love them. (I am unsure how I came to be buying Superdry pjs as I am certainly not their target market, but I am glad I did!) They have washed very well and are lasting a long time.

I also love Toast’s cotton nighties and pjs as they become incredibly soft after washing. I have several pairs, which I bought in the sales, (I wouldn’t pay full price!)

Panjandrum123 · 14/03/2024 20:27

I gave a fab pair of White Stuff pyjamas and I think they’re having a sale so might try to get more.

The only thing is they sell the tops separately to the bottoms, which I didn’t realise, so didn’t have the full set for my hols 🤦🏻‍♀️

Following for more soft snuggly goodness!

Wenttomowameadow · 14/03/2024 21:17

I need ones that are soft , natural but cope with being washed roughly (chucked in with everything else) and dried in a tumble.

colouringindoors · 14/03/2024 21:18

Cyberjammies flannel pj are So soft and stay soft after multiple washes 😁

These are a treat buy, but are amazingly comfy. So soft and just cosy!

Viscose is a natural fabric

It's a synthetic fabric manufactured with wood pulp and aggressive chemicals.

There is no viscose tree, or viscose sheep.

Chelsea Peers 100%

haggisaggis · 12/03/2024 22:21

I would second Chelsea peers. My son has some that are incredibly soft even after lots of wears and I have a dressing gown from them.

mraladdinsir · 14/03/2024 21:29

A treat buy for me would be spending even £50 on pyjamas 🤣🤣 they are gorgeous though!

MaverickBoon · 15/03/2024 12:49

I second British Boxers herringbone flannel for winter, and they do nice crisp cotton for summer which does soften after washing.

I often get lucky with Next pjs too - I have some short double-faced gauze ones from a couple of years ago that I LOVE, and a ln old pair of very soft leopard-print long ones that I'm always on the hunt for on eBay!

I also have the M&S ones linked upthread - very soft but can be a bit voluminous/tangly, as they have quite a bit of give.

arcticseasalt · 20/03/2024 11:04

M&S are doing 20% off nightwear for Sparks members atm, so I took the opportunity to get those blue modal/cotton PJs after the green ones weren't to be. They're not really to my style (not keen on navy) but they're soooooo comfortable.

Nothing with the main subject - but that reply made me laugh 😆I am going to remember it !
