What age do you think I am? I'd just been in the rain, so hair is wet and weird, it normally straight?

An age one

First picture I thought early 50s. Second picture early to mid 40s.

Lentilweaver · 10/03/2024 21:48

Gosh, everybody who posts these age guessing posts is always so pretty!

Wooloohooloo · 10/03/2024 21:50

Similar to me- 43 ish.

This is going to sound controversial but try putting on 1/2 a stone. Natural fat deposits are so much better than silicone. A little more fat in the cheeks lifts the developing jowls and fills in the lines around the eyes and in the neck. If it doesn’t look how you want just drop the weight.
So many women in their 40s/50s are having cheek augmentation to lift the cheek and fill in lines. So much more healthy to increase weight since most of them are hollow cheeked due to low BMI.
My DM always said keep your face or your arse, with the current trend for huge arses you can now do both.

Edited

I hear what you are saying. I have some MH troubles and loose weight very easily.

I wish it was as easy as going to a cash point and ordering 7lb more weight, and on the right place!

I also think extra weight might go on my jowls amwith gravity and make my face more upside down triangle.

I thought 45 the minute I saw the photo. You look like an attractive woman. But from the perspective of a 60 year old, don't spend any time worrying about ageing because there's nothing you can do about it and when you get to my age and look back at your 46 year old self you'll wonder why on earth you were concerned.
I've found post menopause and not having taken any HRT the ageing process rushes ahead, thinning grey hair, sagging, new lines, however many potions and lotions I use( would never touch Botox, fillers etc). But I don't care, I've never had a problem with ageing because it's going to happen whether you make huge efforts to try to avoid it or not, and worrying about it wastes so much time. You'll realise it doesn't matter, and that the people who love you will love you no matter what you look like.

Clingfilm · 10/03/2024 22:06

You look EXACTLY how I picture the average mumsnet user in my head!
Please tell me you live in Surrey and have very tall boys? Grin
My first guess was 46, second was 41.
Nice smiley eyes btw.

BreakfastAtMimis · 10/03/2024 22:07

I was going to say 47 so I was close. You'd probably look better without all the filler though.

NossyFramed · 10/03/2024 22:08

Haha I have a tall boy and live in home counties!

I like these threads

suki1964 · 10/03/2024 22:30

Well Im a lot older then you so id have you down as mid 40's

Im noticing as Im getting older, the younger generation are looking so much younger. Im sure half the P reg drivers ( as in their first year of driving so usually 17 -18 ) are all 12 years old

TBH all these How old am I threads are really a waste of time. Younger people are always going to age you older, older will age you younger because they are comparing you to what they see in the mirror

Btw, my mirror lies. Keeps showing me my mother !!!

ymemanresu · 11/03/2024 00:24

I would have said 36, love your dog!

NossyFramed · 11/03/2024 06:16

Love you!

Actually you guys did well. I went to see a well qualified plastic surgeon last year (paid consultation for a seocond opinion on something), and he said I looked 1 or 2 years younger than my age, was an attractive middle aged woman who didn't need a face-lift!

I’m a similar age to you (45) and think I am ageing well. I think something that ages me though is my eyes. They are very pale and as I age are getting ‘lost’ in my face. Your eyes being dark really makes them stand out and further increase your youthful appearance. Seems I have eye envy!

Leftleg · 11/03/2024 10:05

I mean it says what it is in the title so you don't have to look!

To be fair, no it doesn't.

The title could be related to anything to do with age.

I assumed it was another "am I too old to wear this....." question.

I really don't see what the point of these "guess my age threads" is.

NossyFramed · 10/03/2024 18:31

Thanks everyone.... a bit less fuzzy and more normalt hair

I haven't checked to see if you've revealed your age. I think from this photo you could be 35 or maybe a very well preserved 45 year old. Whatever your age, I think you're gorgeous!

workshy46 · 11/03/2024 11:56

I think you look your age and look great. Most people do, nice people will shave 5-10 years off, not so nice add 5/10 years when asked. Its AWAYS the same
Honestly I'm your age and in my whole life I've met maybe 1 or two people who looked significantly younger in real life than what they were yet on mumsnet everyone looks 10/20 years younger
Its not just the skin, its the hair, body, the way you move, speak that shows your age.

Fine if you are looking for validation from a bunch of strangers on the Internet. I mean you could just ask your friends?
