Good conditioner for fine, flyaway hair

My hair has always been fine, but as there used to be so much of it, it didn't matter so much. However now it's a bit thinner, I'm finding it hard to find a conditioner that doesn't weigh it down a lot. Most of the lighter feeling conditioners I've tried don't seem to be very effective, to the point I've invested in a tangle teaser because it was getting so hard to get a comb through! It just seems to tie itself up in knots so easily when blow drying 🙄

For those with fine hair, what is your go to conditioner please? I'd love a low plastic option, but so far conditioner bars have been of no use at all for me (just don't seem to do anything at all).

TIA

What have you tried already?

I like Aldi fake olaplex, hask thickening and Kristen ESS the one

I rotate between all three

Real olaplex is too strong for my hair.

Also buy a revlon one step for blow drying and a wet brush brand brush. As mine is the same and knots with a dryer.

I use oil on my hair and a cheap blow dry spray (schwartzkopf from home bargains) and my hair has never been better

Mine is super fine like baby hair someone once said.

Going to invest in a better spray

Thanks both, I do wonder if my blow dry technique is also not good, it's basically "point at hair until it's mostly dry"! I've occasionally tried to replicate a bit more what the hair dresser does but it just seems to end up really flat when I do it.

I can't really remember what I've tried as for a long time it really didn't matter what I used. When I had more hair the end result seemed the same regardless of product. I definitely used to use OGX shampoo and conditioner a lot, I've also tried a faith in nature one. More recently in a plastic free mission I've tried a couple of bars from lush and most recently a bog standard conditioner from Refill. I think the ones I remember actually conditioning the most were the Garniet hair food ones, but they did seem a bit heavy.

My hair dresser told me to stop using conditioner. As I have fine thing hair. I wasn’t sure at first. But boy did it make a difference. My hair is now lighter. And she was right it is better. Also doesn’t get as greasy the day after as it used to either.

Do you not find it gets really knotty without though? I worry that if mines this knotty with conditioner, that without I'll lose half my hair each time I brush it!!

I’ve got fine hair and use a leave in conditioning spray which I spray in towel dried hair before brushing with tangle teaser.
This one at moment. I don’t use conditioner as find it’s too heavy. https://www.redken.com/hair-styling/one-united-leave-in-conditioner.html
