I've been using la roshe posay but I think they may have changed it as it's causing me to breakout recently. Has anyone got one they would recommend?

Supergoop playcare spf 50 is good. Also inzincable by Dr V Rattan is amazing!

It really depends on your skin.

I like an SPF in my moisturiser. I'm using an Elf one at the moment which I like. I also use an Elf SPF and primer as a double up! :)

On the spendy side, the Murad vitamin C moisturiser with SPF is lovely.

On the more cheaper side, the Boots vitamin C one is surprisingly good. But quite rich so might not work for you.

The Inkey List SPF was one I used before. Quite thick, but I liked it it a lot.

I used la Roche posay ultra lightbfor years but had to stop last summer as my skin was El reacting.

I'm using Eucerin oil control spf 50 now (usually on offer somewhere)

CreepyDave · 07/03/2024 10:11

I also have the Boots Vitamin C. My skin is very greasy but haven't had any issues with it other than its quite thick to spread (Eucerin is a better consistency)

Biore watery essence is good. Get it on Amazon although apparently Superdrug now sell it too.
I got a free sample of the Skin+Me one with my Tret prescription last month. Also really nice and quite light but I haven’t looked at the cost.

Spf45 and great for oily skin

CointreauVersial · 07/03/2024 10:28

I use the Roche Posay one linked to by Brackenfield - absolutely no issues, soaks in beautifully too.

If I am having a "foundation" day, I use Erborian Nude Glow CC Cream, which is lovely and has SPF40.

Beauty Of Joseon. Sinks into my skin really well and reasonably priced.

I think I use one which is Inci. I'll try to find the tube later. I did used to use LRP.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 07/03/2024 10:36

Brackenfield · 07/03/2024 10:10

Which LRP?

I'm still using the one below, but swapped to it a while ago from the thicker/creamier one, cant remember its name. This one is very light and I've had no issues with breakouts, unless theyve v recently changed it

https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/la-roche-posay-anthelios-uvmune-400-invisible-fluid-spf50-sun-cream-50ml/13494906.html?affil=thggpsad&switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA6KWvBhAREiwAFPZM7oK6b-fVb-249Jyyrw5yRdsXVEG_luWq43f0ewZYU-fhg01NibhrDxoCS9UQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

This is the one I always used too from LRP, very light.

Nuxe do this one which is similar and light but not tried yet.

Sun Bum, face factor 50

DrJoanAllenby · 07/03/2024 10:44

Gruum.

No eye sting and melts into the skin and can wear make up worn over the top.

Glitterandtinsel1 · 07/03/2024 10:53

Thanks everyone I will take a look at some of these. I am using the one in the link above maybe my breakout is hormonal and nothing to do with the spf as it is around my mouth and chin only.

I'm using bondi sands at the moment and really like it. Good reviews, doesn't irritate my eyes or sensitive skin and it's pretty cheap it also sits well under makeup
Previous favourite was heliocare 360

If it's hormonal I'd probably stick with the lighter one rather than a cream. Also if you use e.g. a BB/CC cream - I use Clinique City Block sometimes, they have a decent SPF so you shouldn't (I think I'm correct) need to double up by using a separate one under it.

TomatoSoup69 · 07/03/2024 19:07

Beauty of Joseon, I think it's called Relief Sun? SPF50 and very good.
