Cheap but tolerable moisturiser?

The lymphoedema nurse has advised me to massage moisturiser into my legs gently a couple of times a day, mainly for the massaging action but also for a bit of moisturising to prevent issues.

I usually use Aveeno occasionally for the small areas which are actually dry, such as my hands. But now I'll be using quite large amounts of moisturiser, I'd like to find something cheap. The quality doesn't have to be brilliant, just okay, not too greasy. I figure I can just apply Aveeno in a more targeted way to sort out any problem areas if I need to.

Can anybody recommend something quite cheap which gives good coverage even if it isn't all that brilliant at moisturising?

Thanks!

Nivea soft. The big tubs are cheap as chips.

Thanks! I think I'll start with the Nivea one which is even cheaper, but maybe try this one if that doesn't suit. This Boots Derma Care product does have good reviews.

Another vote for nivea soft, especially if it's not for your face (I use the nivea in the blue pots, which is thicker, for that), it should do your legs fine and is cheap.

You could try aqueous cream, but if you don't have any allergies I'd start with nivea soft.

The garnier superfoods ones are really nice on the skin.

Has your nurse not mentioned olive oil, @Saracen? It works brilliantly as a body moisturiser (full of Vitamin E, and antioxidants as well as being faintly exfoliating).

If you buy a 500 mi bottle of EV olive oil and add a few drops of your preferred essential oil it will last for months and you’ll have the benefits of aromatherapy at the same time.

If you want cheap and not greasy then this is brilliant.

Nivea stinks and is very greasy.

Thanks everybody! I've tried the Nivea, which seems just right for what I want. I find the smell of it fine.

Astral! Used it for years about £7 for a massive tub in boots. Very moisturising.
