Nice tan bag for baby stuff?

Not necessarily a baby bag - have drooled over the Storksak Elizabeth but £160 out of my reach

Have a shopper I adore but the lack of compartments is driving me spare, so some internal pockets would be useful.

All I want is a tan, pref leather or leather-look bag which isn't covered with mad prints. Something that looks like a normal big bag.

Any ideas out there?

Oooooh!!! I've just bought the Storksak Elizabeth in tan and I tell you now - save up for it - its worth every penny and its divine!!!

Can't make the link work needamiracle, but will drop into my local Faith and have a look round. Thanks!

Puss, that was NOT what I needed to hear . I'm still on maternity pay and have bought four not-right bags so far. DH is going spare...

Ahh, but as I've said to my DH, its better to buy just one forever type of bag rather than lots of not quite right ones...works out cheaper in the long run....but then I'm back at work p/time now - I wouldn't have bought it on maternity leave either so don't blame you there

However, should you find yourself weakening somewhat....I did also pointed out that DH had an x box etc etc and he then shut up...not that I'm encouraging you to do the same....

Or...do you have a birthday coming up anytime soon?

PS I commend your fine taste btw!

Moorhen · 24/03/2008 22:12

Actually, DH spent three times that on a guitar a month or so ago. But I must confess that if you add up all the cake and coffee I've bought on mat leave, and the money I've wasted in Primark etc, we're prolly quits.

I agree entirely about the one good thing vs loads of rubbish. Will reform in future. Will be grown up.

Will hanker after bag until I have saved enough...

can you sell the not right bags and put the cash towards the really good one?

Moorhen · 24/03/2008 22:16

I could make some towards it, just not much. My shopping technique is buying cheap thing after cheap thing instead of the good one I really want.

Like I say, time to reform... And time for a clear out.

You can't have maternity leave without cakes and coffee though - a gooey cake is the only thing that can keep you sane/awake when you have been walking the floor at 4am in the morning!!

Mind you, its also the reason that I am still 2.5st overweight and DS is nearly 2 and my mat leave ended nearly a year ago...
