what shoes with a slimline skirt?

do i need a heel? i am talking about a pencil skirt really with a jacket and i am a short arse .can i get away with a flat pump or will my legs look like tree trunks. i am not very good at heels.thinking of a mary jane.

flats will do your calves and ankles no favours

mary jane good idea - much easier than courts to walk in bargain too

oh they are about right badger but would need to be persuaded about patent.Its for work gear so need to eb comfortable as i do a lot of walking

I would wear a low heel if you need to walk quite a bit.Thye have some quite nice Mary jane one sin New Look that arent too high (tried to link but cant manage it)Or if your ankles are quite slim you may be able to get away with a flatty..but would go for a pointy one rather than a round toe one..

you have to wear high heels with a pecil skirt. flat shoes just wont work.

well have bought a mary jane. medium heel- just can't do high as have vertigo
