What next after Polarn O Pyret?

I clothed my two children pretty much exclusively in Polarn O Pyert up to the age of 11. My children are tall and it was the only brand where they fitted the correct age on the label instead of going up a couple of years like for example in John Lewis. My youngest daughter also happily accepted hand me downs from her big brother without fuss and the fact that she wore the right size for her age made her feel more confident too and less embarassed about being tall. So we are now at the end of the road with Polarn as my youngest is now too old, the very last pair of well worn hand me down jeans leaving the house soon and we are very sad. What next? My eldest is straight foward, he has expensive tastes for good quality clothing but to be fair he has few well chosen items as he's very much into quality over quantity, so with careful sales shopping he can be quite economical. I'm struggling with my daughter. She's a tween, not precocious, doesn't like crops tops or motifs or sequins or anything that looks too teenager etc We're really struggling to find her clothes. I get her size 8 petite/short items in the shops like Next or John Lewis but they're boring. She basically wants Polarn for teenagers. So are there any interesting brands for me to check out? I might even consider traveling somewhere to stock up with good shopping for tall tween girls. We had a holiday to Scandinavia a few years ago (canoeing) where we did buy quite a bit Polarn O Pyret, same in Germany where we found the shopping pretty good, are there any other Scandinavian brands to consider even if it means a shopping holiday? Or other countries?

It's a really tricky age/size, agreed. DD 12 same issue, used to live in POP and Mini Rodini. Her favorite things recently have been from H&M boys department and odd bits from New Look. Quality very hit and miss.

I love scandi clothes and shopping! My friends use kidsbrandstore but they don’t seem to ship to the UK. You might get some inspiration though.

In the same position here with a very tall 12 year old. We've had some success with Primark and New Look teen ranges - orange canvas combat jeans are a favourite, but she's a bit too tall now.

Most of her clothes are from Next now. They do kid's clothes up to age 16 -17 online. Plain and strioey Ts, jeans etc.

H&M, Lindex, Uniqlo? Next and M&S online can be good for basics. Zara can be a bit hit or miss but sometimes has fun colourful stuff in amongst the strangely cropped items.

Name It has a nice range for that age group..... better quality than zara

Also Lands End. The biggest kids size is Age 13 I think, but it's big.

I was also quite upset when I went to buy a new winter coat from PoP and discovered DS had outgrown their range. Reima for coats. If they are into more colourful stuff, Molo has 14y and 16y. Have you checked Lindex? Kids' clothes go up to 14y. Not as good quality as PoP but not terrible.
