Hi @togetherlikeglue ! I had mine surgically corrected about 6 or 7 years ago and it was absolutely well worth it.
I had the most sever (Grade 3) inverted nipples you can get. Totally in, like slits and they barely ever came out and when they did they were tiny. When i ws cold and had goose-pimples they went in even more. One boyfriend in my teens called me Volcano Tits which stuck with me forever.
I wasn't able to breastfeed, which was really upsetting for me as i wanted to badly. The midwives all tried for me and after a while just handed me a bottle in the hospital. There was literally no hope in hell of being able to.
I did LOADS of research and found the best guy in the country by all accounts. Mr Adrian Richards. I had it done at The Private Clinic in North London, but if you google him he works at loads of diff hospitals around the country. My nearest station is Peterborough and so i went down on the train on my own, had lunch, then went there had it done, went shopping for a couple of hours and then home on the train on my own again. Hardly any pain, a couple of Nurofen took it away anyway.
So, its local anaesthetic and you're awake. You lie on the op table, they inject your nipple, (which hurt, not gonna lie) But then you feel nothing at all. A tiny incision is made at the base of where your nipple will be and he sticks a scalpel in there and does a sweeping motion to cut all your milk-ducts which are basically way too short and hence tethering your nipple inwards. As soon as they are all cut, it pops out! A tiny stitch and a bit of tape for a few days and ta da! I was so excited to see them. Its great! I was 42 when i had it done and for the first time in my life i feel normal. Because for me that's what it was about, feeling normal and unembarrassed. I now walk about showing my boobs off to my husband, i still stare at them in wonder in the shower etc! I no longer wear a bra during sex!
Have it done if my story resonates with you. You won't regret it.

I don;t work for him or them btw, i just did a lot of research and am sharing that with you as a starting point. x
