Probably inspired by the beautiful weather today, I'm thinking about buying some new trainers ready for spring.
I want something fashionable, that look up to date. Any suggestions please?

I have been wearing my black New Balance trainers.

Also bought some skater style black Adidas Campus trainers which I love.

I love their plimsolls which go with everything, and the marathons are also gorgeous and so comfy. Bit unusual as well. I think white trainers died a bit of a death once Nadine Dorres started wearing them. Lots of people wearing coloured trainers, which also don’t look grubby so quickly.

I have those in the blue and they are very comfortable.

@willsandnoodle - I'll let you know. It said they were unisex and if you're a woman's size 5, to order 4.5 in unisex, but I ordered size 5 anyway as I have wide feet.

OP, I love the Adidas ones in your first post. I nearly bought them in a green trim a few months ago. I love Adidas trainers and find them mega comfy - have tried Superstars, Sambas, and Ozweegos

Oh OP, I don’t know whether to thank you or curse you. I was waiting for the orange gazelles I can’t really afford this month to come back in stock, and you’ve posted those Golas 😵‍💫

I love the look of these but like all NB trainers with the bobbly soles they can be v slippy on smooth wet surfaces, so take care!

I also need new and can’t decide which I would like. I love the Nike pandas but I’m nearly 40 so I’m not sure if I’m too old? I like the adidas sambas but I don’t really want to pay £90 for a pair so I think I might just stick with converse, maybe get some of the more platform ones or a different colour.

Oh op those are the ones I have in cream, they are comfy and I haven’t found them to be slippy.

Anyone with the Golas, please can you let me know if the fit tts? A review said they come up large. Thanks!

For those who care about not been taken for a fool; Nike and Adidas support males in women's sports.

I bought the Hoff Montreals about a year ago and so many people have asked me about them. Even one of my students! Kept me happy all day that.

I am in the market for a new pair of trainers soon. I can’t decide whether to go for another pair of Hoff trainers or something else.

I have a pair of Victoria trainers for the summer but I would describe them as daps rather than trainers. I’ve worn them to death.

My sons are still wedded to AF1s and I have a red and gold pair that I still love.

I have them in a different colour and worn them for nearly a year now and no probs with slipping.

I'm happy with them. I like the colour you have picked.

I got some Campus 00s (black with animal print stripes) in the autumn and I’m obsessed. Had so many compliments too.

I have these Veja Venturi - very different from their flat white ones and incredibly comfy like walking on air. Lots of colour options too. I like them as I think they fit the bill for on trend - not white, dad / chunky style but also comfy.

Thanks, I'm in the market for trainers but won't support Nike or Adidas because they don't give a jot about women or girls.

Also don’t like the adidas involvement in the balenciaga scandal. I am only supporting smaller brands where possible since that happened.

The hoffs look nice never heard of them so watching this thread for inspo.

Adidas gazelles are a classic that never go out of fashion. I got these for a steal on ASOS the other day (the sale price with another 40% off) and they're the perfect spring colour (unfortunately sold out now, but hopefully some good inspiration!)

I looked at this online and wasn't sure of sizing. Would you mind letting me know? Is it narrow fit, do you need to size up?

I have flat feet so wondered if they would work.

In case you'd like an update, the New Balance trainers I ordered were yesterday delivered to the wrong address. I have a photo from Yodel of someone else's porch.
Yodel are being hopeless of course so I am dealing with Office, who are looking into it
