I am ageing prematurely in the hand and feet department and I need some help, what would you recommend?

the Vaseline hand cream in white and blue tube, unscented is fab £2.99 - also have the foot version which seems ok

Apparently oil is better for dry feet than lotion as foot creams can actually exacerbate the problem.

So says Grazia anyway!

Flexitol for feet. It doesn't look very glam but it does the job.

Crabtree and Evelyn Goat Milk handcream - i have very dry cracked horrid hands and this works really well

MummyPenguin · 22/03/2008 20:39

At the moment I'm using Lush's Handy Gurugu for my hands. It's lovely, it absorbs really well and doesn't make your hands all slippery. It makes them really soft and it smells divine.

Crabtree & Evelyn Nutmeg & Cardamom Body Butter. I use it on hands as well as body. It's utterly divine.

I quite like the Dove Regeneration Hand Cream too - which is dirt cheap so you can have tubes of it in the kitchen, bathroom etc.

Flexitol for feet - but not if you're going out. It's a bit greasy and a bit smelly so best used before bed or whilst watching TV. It works wonders though.

Body SHop Hemp hand cream - v rich, but not too greasy. They do a matching foot one too, apparently.

Clarins Hand and Nail treatment cream gets my vote. I put anything and everything on my feet and then cover them in my bed socks

TuttiFrutti · 23/03/2008 10:16

Another vote for Clarins Jeunesse des Mains. Absolutely brilliant, although not the cheapest, but absorbed instantly so your hands are not greasy and really moisturising.

For feet, I've always used the Body Shop Peppermint Foot Cream. Gives a slightly tingly feeling and leaves them all soft and nice smelling.

L'Occitanne!

Kbear · 23/03/2008 20:39

I like Body Shop Spa Wisdom Hand and Feet Butter - it smells lovely and isn't greasy.
