Lots of recipes online but which way is best? Fabric conditioner method? Bicarbonate of soda method?

I don't, but I love the smell of Fairy Outdoors so I hope somebody has a recipe!

Vodka/water roughly 50/50, essential oil of choice. That's what I do.

I just use fabric softener in water. Makes my sofa smell lovely

I can think of better uses for my vodka thank you 😂

My lovely wool jumpers are worth it @TellingBone (and it's the cheapest stuff I can find 😁)

I volunteer in a local theatre in wardrobe and we use vodka. No need to dilute it. Couple of sprays on the clothes, one spray in the mouth. 😁

Not even with tonic and a slice?

I make up a concoction that's fabric conditioner, bicarb and warm water in a spray bottle.

Love it! 😆

Please-oh-please tell me you semi-drunkenly raid 'Props Dept.', pinch their period glass soda siphons, refill with vodka and fire into your mouth theatrically?

Is fabric refresher to delay having to wash something??

Well now I need to sneak into the props room and see if we have one I can "borrow". 😁 Although my spray bottle was theatrical enough at times, lots of people got a spray of vodka at our panto after party and I'm not a very good shot it seems. 🤣

Yes. Yes it is. I'm single-handedly saving the planet via the medium of spray vodka.

I just make up a spray bottle with about a quarter fabric softener and the rest water. Give it a good shake. I use it on my sons crumpled school shirts-spray then hang on a coat hanger over the towel radiator overnight and all the creases disappear! I also spray my super king sized duvet cover with it to save me ironing it.

TellingBone · 09/02/2024 12:17

Thanks all

The planet is most grateful. Hic.

I have definitely read on Mumsnet that spraying Fabric softener around the house is a massive fire risk.

I have just googled and it is extremely flammable!!
