Has anyone used hair removal cream for bikini line? Help need to sort it out quickly

Need to sort it out in a hurry. Would usually have a wax but don't think I have time for that.

Shaving might not look nice or calm down by Sunday so was thinking of trying hair removal cream.

Never used one there before - has anyone any experience of them or recommendations of good brands.

Do they still smell vile. Have bad memories of using Imaac on underarms when I was a teenager. Yuk!

And yes am on a promise for Sunday

i used the nair one with the pretend razor. my lady garden was like a jungle after the birth of my dd 6 weeks ago. it sorted it out in 3 mins. thought i was gonna have to get the flymo on it but that stuff worked a treat.

Thanks the Boots aand Nair ones sound good. Very interested in pretend razor do you sort of drag it across the area.

Will give it a try tomorrow avoiding inner flaps.

all you do is spread the cream on. leave it 3 min then sort of scrape it off with the razor. there is no mess and its really quick. i have just checked and it is veet not nair.

Yes, but if you have very sensitive skin or have had a bad reaction to hair removers in the past, don't go there or you will end up with a foof like a cold pizza.

citylover · 22/03/2008 18:49

Right have bought both the veet thingie and also a Boots expert thingie and wil be trying one of them later.

Let's hope I don't end up with a foof like a cold pizza . Didn't have bad reaction in the past just didn't like the smell.

I've used them on my legs before and it stung, would I be right in thinking I should give the bikini area a miss or try one?

citylover · 23/03/2008 12:45

Just to update it seems too have worked very well and as pud 1 says seems to work very quickly with minimum of fuss - I think I got a bit carried away and have almost got a Brazilian which was not the intention but never mind.

Thanks all - I am sure it will be worth it!
