Never look like I'm wearing makeup! How to change this?

Despite every morning putting on foundation, concealer, bronzer, blusher, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick etc in photos or on camera I look like I am not wearing make up at all and I don't know what I need to change?

I don't want to look like it's been plastered on but I do want to look like I am wearing it and for it to give me some colour!

Help - I need tips and advice for getting that flawless, glam make-up look!

I hear you! My face just disappears in photos, but if I put on more or darker makeup I feel it doesn't suit my older (60) skin and pale colouring

Same, except I don't use lipstick. My 'day' and 'night' looks are exactly the same despite my best efforts, and both look like I have no make-up on.

I've been thinking about getting a make-up lesson to see if they can point out what I can do differently.

That's a good idea @Copen I thought about going to the make-up counters but I'm too scared I'll be bullied into buying loads of expensive stuff I don't really want!

I wore makeup for the first time in months and I had a red lip stain, Luke Benetint but another company, and it made such a difference. I'm a don't look like I'm wearing makeup usually. If you don't wear glasses I suggest a trip to Robert Welsh on YouTube he does fantastic eyes and shows you how to do it.

Brows amd a strong brown eyeliner makes a difference to me. Blusher never lasts more than 5 mins on me.
I like eldw foundation which makes me look more done

You could consider having a make up artist to give you a guided lesson? Less pressure of a sales pitch than going to a counter, and she can actually advise you on tips and tricks with application/colours.

Do you have good eyebrows?
