I've heard a lot of negative things about Uniqlo returns, which is why I prefer to buy in a shop rather than buy online. I visited the store on Oxford Street last summer, but only bought a T-shirt.

Their returns are a bit annoying because you have to pay but it's quite straightforward and I've never had a problem getting the refund.

As others have already said, the heat tech tops - no idea how I made it through winter (and autumn, and early spring) without them. The half moon bags, especially the cord version, so useful and fun (and cheap). Then there’s these wide leg trousers from the colab with Comptoir Des Cotonniers which look fantastic and are so comfortable to wear.

Thanks all!

Heat tech tops - I wear all winter.
Jumpers, I tend to buy mens to get the fit right - I like the merino and the lambs wool
Half moon bags - I've got 2.
I bought a (mens again) raincoat last year which I love - great cut, very Cos.
Winter gloves - just because they were on sale and a good price for cashmere.

Nowhere near a store, so mostly I wait until I've got a day in London and stock up.

Pretty much ONLY the heattech stuff. Warm thermal tops, leggings, socks.
I don't think their outerwear is very stylish. Tends to be oversized and shapeless.

In terms of sizing, they give the actual measurements of each item online, so it's quite easy to work out what you need. The sizing calculator is ridiculous: I'm usually XXS or XS there and it tells me I'm a Medium.
