Tips for hair growth at parting

Since losing a couple of stone several years ago, the texture of my hair seemed to change and thinned out a lot. Particularly on the top of my head at my parting it is very thin and I'm always a bit conscious that it looks like I've got a bald spot!

I had it styled quite short and choppy for a good few years as I felt that gave the illusion of volume but in the past 6 months it's grown like mad, I've been taking some new supplements and in general my hair is super healthy! However my parting still looks really thin :( in the summer I have to be careful as I always get a burnt scalp!

Any tips on how I can support some regrowth, specifically around my parting?

Thanks in advance

Following as I have the same issue!

Rosemary oil and castor oil are apparently good for hair growth, I'm about to start a weekly scalp massage with both. Perhaps focus it more around your parting. Also, interested to know what supplements have you been using?

Thanks @dullandgrey I've heard rosemary oil is good for this, will have to give it a go. Regarding supplements - I started taking the centrum multivitamin and that seemed to align with my hair growing like mad, definitely seems to have something in it that has helped! I also rotate taking olive leaf and nettle leaf supplements throughout the year, not specifically for my hair but it's potentially helped things along the way.

Change your parting?? Can you flip it and try it from the other side??

@Rattai I'm going to try this!! Will report back 😂

I also agree with Rattai, change your parting, I do this during the week when I work from home and it seems to help. Also using a fine comb to get a neat parting helps.
