Shoe advice needed

I broke my foot back in September and I'm still having problems with it as it's stiff, painful and weak. Because of this I've only been able to wear trainers since then but I'm now looking for shoe ideas. They will have to be flat but fairly supportive but absolutely not brogues, I hate them with a passion! I just want something reasonably smart but not too masculine.

Thanks for that, I like the Dorothy Perkins loafers - and the price! I wouldn't have thought about looking there.

Have you looked at Hotters?

I like the Mary Janes on the John Lewis site, thank you @Darklane

I hadn't looked at Hotters - I think of them as being old fashioned but I'm thinking of ordering these - https://www.hotter.com/faye-black-1067. I know they aren't shoes but for £39 I can adapt!

I ended up wearing Hotter after breaking my ankle, I was pleasantly surprised at the options. The Tourist sandals are brilliant, and the Ridge goretex boot.
Although you do have to search through the velcro fastening shoes, which are still there, and many are just too ugly to contemplate!

Go for lace ups that aren't brogues. Hotter, Skechers, Fitflops, Gabor etc will be comfortable and supportive without looking masculine or orthapaedic.
