Those who use Tretinoin….

I’m thinking of starting, via the Uncouth website.

To what extent will there be initial peeling? Would you recommend any particular moisturiser? Which spf product do u use? I don’t want to look too shiny!

How soon did you start to see results?

Also using Azelaic Acid for pores and Hyaluronic with the Tret - this is the formula from Uncouth devised for my skin needs. I haven’t placed initial order yet. It’s £25 for first two months worth and then almost £50 after that for two months…

I'm not familiar with Uncouth but it looks to be similar to Dermatica and Skin+Me so in all likelihood they will start you off with a low strength and gradually build you up. This should, in theory, minimise the worst of the peeling. But YMMV, some experience zero peeling while others may see more but with a subscription service it should be very manageable for most.

It's always good to have La Roche Posay Cica B5 on standby when new to Tretinoin, it's a great healer/night cream stand in. For SPF I prefer Japanese or Korean, they're not shiny, at the moment I really like Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50+ and Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+.

I experienced no peeling at all. I've used tret for a few years now, previously via dermatica and now from uncouth. Uncouth base formula and customer service is exceptional.
Dermatica have reduced the size to 12 ml per month/delivery. Uncouth is 30ml every 2 months/delivery

I can’t decide whether to give it a go?! I’ll have to stop my collagen supplements as
cant really afford both at around £25 per month….

it’s a formula with tretinoin, azelaic acid and hyaluronic acid…gradually increasing in strength.

What difference did you see with Tret?
