Recommend a good eye cream for droopy eyelids

My eyelids are beginning to get a bit crepey/droopy (in my 40s).
I need to drink more water (does this help?)
Buy an eye cream. I got a sample of a dermalogica one but it was super expensive to buy the full size.
I reckon my budget is £40

Eye creams do bugger-all in my experience... Sorry...

Oh no 😁 not what I was hoping to hear!

I suppose then my next question is - what else helps?

Eye cream won't help with drooping eyelids. Drinking more water and a good skincare routine might help marginally, but realistically the only think that will really make a visible difference would be botox or an upper bleph procedure.

Not possible.

Elf holy hydration eye cream seems to be working for me, but it's only been three days I've been using it so can't comment on long term effects. It's definitely less crepey than it was though (upper eyelids are my problem).
I'll caveat that I'm only 37, and the crepiness happened suddenly. I'm putting it down to low oestrogen whilst bf! So maybe I'm trying to fix a temporary problem, rather than actually reverse the natural effects of aging. So maybe it's a different situation.
But the Elf cream is cheap and nice to use, so maybe worth a shot.
