Raincoat - which would you choose?

Vaude or North Face

To wear around town, to the shops, Dc activities etc. Age 45, wear jeans and a jumper pretty much all the time.
What's the quality and sizing like, any one know? I've never bought anything from Vaude.

I've got the nf one, had it about 3 years, washed countless times and it's definitely properly waterproof, and not too hot. Sizes are small though. I'm about a 10-12 and got a large (would have just about got away with the medium but prefer a bit of room, it doesn't look oversized on).

I love these, and can vouch that they are completely waterproof too. Even for dog walking, I love mine!
