Hi,
So I’ve booked in for Botox for the first time, I’m booked for 3 areas, around my eyes, forehead and my mouth.
I’ve never had it before and am a little bit nervous! Peoples experiences would be much appreciated please and what to expect!
thanks in advance!

My experience is that people who get botox end up looking weird and unfriendly

I've been doing it for years - eyes and forehead.
It's done by an ENT surgeon or my dermatologist and no issues so far.
They take a conservative approach so it's not a frozen look.
Hope you'll be pleased with the results!

Do you have a medic doing it? I have had it done twice, both by highly experienced and recommended doctors. I didn’t want a frozen look. I was extremely happy with my results. My lines have vanished but I can move my forehead. People have commented how well I look. A good practitioner will offer you a free top to at 2 weeks if you need more.

The other thing that was important to me to me was that the practioner looked natural in their Insta pics. I would never go to someone who looked too filled and frozen or a pastiche of JLo or Kardashian.

Does it hurt when they do it?
do you bruise much?

No it doesn't but seriously who have you booked in with? Please tell me they are of medical professional. Such an unregulated industry.

I’ve had it done (only forehead) I have been for it twice and there is some movement but the deep lines have gone.
you will be glad .. I wore a bit of a fringe for a while so it wasn’t as obvious that there was a change in my appearance

Agree that a reputable practitioner would normally offer free top ups so you can go conservative and then top up in 2 weeks once you see the full effect. I once had one practitioner go overboard and I did look young, but also looked drunk- not good, so better to go for less and top up if needed. It's uncomfortable rather than painful. I've had the ice block before but it doesn't do that much so probably better to just let them get on with it.

Check save face and make sure they're a qualified doctor. Also, eat a proper meal before hand. Fainting is a thing.

I have had it done a few times. I would say to only use a registered healthcare professional , although I’m sure you’re doing that all ready. I’ve had occasions where I barely feel it, others where it stings a bit. It doesn’t take very long and I like the results. I find that it is filler that makes people’s faces look odd, not a little bit of Botox.

Yes ask them to start small and of its not enough they can top it up for free at your follow up 10 days later.
