Budget-ish eyeshadow (and anything else)

I've always bought high-ish end make up (Bobbi Brown and Clinique mainly with a bit of Lancome) and I'm looking for recommendations of good cheaper products as B Brown has become ridiculously pricy.

Eye shadow, lipliners and lippie- what are your best brands?

Maybelline?
Rimmel?
Revlon?

I'm completely our of touch with lots of newer brands (eg Morphe)
so any suggestions?

I like neutral / nude colours and not sparkle.

Morphe is fab, really pigmented a little goes a long way and they have colour to suit everyoneZ.

I liked L’Oréal mascaras, especially telescopic and I’ve tried all the high end ones .

I use revlon foundations over bobbi brown although will try the L’Oréal one I think

maybeline for my eye bags

I use a mixture of luxury and budget brands. There are definitely some things you can go budget with but eyeshadow I wouldn't go too cheap, cheaper brands just don't have the same pigmentation.

Morphe is really good ,great pigmentation . I also like the Anastasia Beverly Hills soft glam palette and the charlotte tilbury eyes to mesmerise eyeshadow pots are very beautiful and easy to apply. Eyeshadow palettes will last for years if you look after them well.

Maybeline mascara - lash sensational is amazing and under £10

Nyx micro pencils for eyebrows is around £10

Barry M lipliners are good and pretty cheap, but I do like Mac lipsticks

Foundations. I must admit I stick to high with foundations, Estee lauder, Bobbi Brown and Charlotte Tilbury . I've tried cheaper alternatives but I've never found any to be as good or long lasting

Skincare - the ordinary is really good and very reasonably priced

I love Maybelline mascaras.

In terms of eye shadow I would go for Top Faced palette in shades that are neutral or that you will wear regularly. They are good quality but have enough shades that one palette may be all you need. They work out a lot more cost effective than buying individual MAC shadows but obviously a bit more expensive than some high street brands. If you really want budget then Revolution eyeshadows do some good shades.

Rimmel stay matte powder is a classic and has always been popular.

I still have my ancient bourjois which I love. You can still buy it somewhere.

I bought a palette in Aldi recently out of sheer curiosity (the West Hollywood one) and it's amazing, very highly pigmented and easy to blend. I don't generally go for shimmers but the ones included in this actually work for me. Apparently it's a dupe of a Too Faced one. Very surprised by the quality. I usually buy Pixi and suchlike.

I love pretty much everything I've tried from Primark! It's the longest I've been loyal to foundation since stopping ELDW a decade ago due to cost.
The Primark eyeshadow palettes are insanely cheap and they are great, lovely complementary shades.
My current favourite mascara is from Aldi so I bulk buy when it's in special...it's a dupe of a Benefit one. I also rate Maybelline mascara.
Other favourite brand is Laura Geller for powder foundation and blusher, and I'm trying not to buy much new now so working through various lipsticks I've stockpiled over the years from Estee Lauder beauty gifts, Revlon and Avon. I find a lot of lipstick drying so slather on lots of Carmex when not wearing any.

I like some Revolution and some Technic and W7. They're all very cheap. London Studio - a Superdrug brand - is very good and very affordable. Nyx is good as is ELF. Check Primark and Bodycare - you can find pallettes at such a low price that it's not a huge risk to try them.
