Men's fingerless gloves - finishing just before the nails, covering all joints?

I'm searching (fruitlessly, so far) for fingerless gloves where the fingers cover most of the length of the fingers, covering all the joints. DH has developed chilblains, and I thought keeping his hands/fingers at a steady warmish temperature might help. Any I've seen, the 'fingers' only seem to come up to the first joint, and most of his chilblains are between the first and second finger joints.

Has anyone seen any like this? My knitting skills are not up to making them!

Can you not cut the very tips off of a normal pair?

Or... can he?

Why do you want the fingertips exposed? If it’s for touchscreens would those touchscreen gloves work?

Basically it's for wearing about the house (it's so cold he's taken to wearing a beanie indoors) but still able to use a keyboard / turn the pages of a book / cook / pooter. I struggle to do all those things if my fingertips are 'clothed'.

Or maybe I've just got some time free to Mumsnet whilst he cook dinner?

I have gloves that have little holes on the inside tip of the forefinger and thumb, so you can wear them as normal gloves , or poke your finger through to use tech or do something fiddly. Would that work do you think ?

Ooh, I've not seen anything like them! Yes, I think they could do the trick. Where did you get them?

Look for arthritis gloves! Great for those with Raynaud's as well....

That's exactly the sort of thing I envisaged! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Mumsnet always delivers Grin - books and films I can't remember the name of, gloves I can't find ...

These are mine, might be too small for your DH, but maybe they do men’s ones. They are stretchy though. Gloves

Get the cheap fleece gloves from Decathlon, cut off each finger tip to the exact length required.

Fleece so they won’t unravel.
