After some jeans that wont get baggy knees after a couple of wears Im a size 16/18 can anyone help. Currently wear jeans from next but after seeing a photo
of myself in them they look so scruffy and baggy so the hunt is on for better quality jeans. Can anyone point me in the right direct please as Im 42 and still havent found any decent jeans. Even bought levis once which cost a lot and they didnt last any longer than cheap ones. Wore threw on the inside of my big thighs lol.

If you do buy from m&s don't buy the lily's, I brought two pair it was two years ago , but at first I thought they the best most comfortable jeans ever, but now they slip down, bag at the knee, one pair has stretch out on the thigh, I think there's to much elastane in them, yes they are comfortable but they stretch out to much.

I have some skinny jeans from FatFace that don't go baggy at the knees. I'm not petite just average.
With any stretch jeans, you need a belt.

I wear them with almost to the knee boots, so they need to be skinny.

I got a brand new pair of new look lift and slim jeans from the charity shop today ( still had tags) nicest jeans and fit I’ve ever tried ( for anyone like me who’s short and a big bum)

@lindyloo57 thanks for the heads up. Was gonna look there as a few people have recommended them. Thats the problem I have with my next jeans now and since doing this thread I checked the label and they only have 1% elastane in them so don't know why they’re so bad. Gonna have to go shopping and check every label for a pair that are 100% cotton which none of them seem to be.

My favourite are Primark, I think they're mom fit ones. I just got them by chance and didn't expect to like them much but actually love them.
They're hard denim so not comfy when you first put them on after washing but they really hold their shape. I've had loads of compliments about them.

I've just got some wide leg ones from Tu and they are fab, so comfy and make my wardrobe look more modern.

Useful laundry tip - don't use biological washing powder/liquid or fabric conditioner - both break down the elastane in lycra and make clothes go baggy more quickly!

@Plainandsimple thanks thats handy to know.

I wouldn't wear rigid or 100% cotton jeans, far too uncomfortable for my liking.

I agree, horrible things. I don't like really stretchy jeans, but buy them with 1% elastane and then they move with your body. Mine don't go baggy, but they are not skinnies. I also never wear a belt with them.
