What’s the best ‘hair drying and smoothing’ device you can buy?

my babyliss big hair has packed in. It was never my favourite as I had many moments of pulled hair. But it did tame my frizz somewhat. Hoping that in the last 5 years something new and better has been invented!

Another vote for Revlon One Step. Agree with those saying wait till hair is almost dry then finish with the Revlon. I am useless with hair but this smooths out my not quite wavy/not quite straight hair.

I blast my hair with the hairdryer until 80% dry, then run through with the Revlon One Step. I rarely use my straighteners these days.

I bought the One Step after recommendation on here.

It was great when my hair was longer but it's a lot shorter now so don't use it quite so much as there's not enough hair for it to grip.

When it grows a bit more I'll go back to using it, hair looked so much smoother when I did.

Revlon one step!

Revlon One Step, large oval barrel that doesn’t rotate, gives me a sleeker look than the Babyliss Big Hair (which could make things a bit bouffant if I wasn’t careful)

I agree with this. The. BBH got tangled easily and im sure caused quite a bit of breakage. The one step is much better at smoothing and doesn't get stuck in my hair.
I use revlon leave in conditioner spray and a pump of moroccan oil light on my wet hair. Then another pump through the lengths when dry. My fine frizzy hair is much better with this regime.

K18 hair mask and then dry sing the Dyson Airwrap (new style hair dryer attachment and then flick it over to smoothing mode)

I borrowed a friend's Dyson air wrap for a month (she hardly used it) to see how it compared to the Big Hair. I didn't get on with it at all. It was... fine.. but didn't dry my hair any better than the Babyliss. Certainly didn't look £350 better than it.
I know some people love it but IMHO you can get just as good results with a hot brush, and using weekly elasticiser and a good heat protector. Colour wow dreamcoat is brilliant for frizz.
