Or you have Dyson airwrap/shark flex style & fine hair

...was it worth the outlay? Would you recommend either?

I have fine, wavy hair just below my shoulders. Left to its own devices it's frizzy so needs to be curled or straightened if I don't want to look like a Brillo pad.

Currently give it a quick blast with the hairdryer then use GHDs to straighten but I think the poker straight look has been a bit dated for about 10 years now! I can also get decent curls/waves with them so not too worried about those.

I'd like a bit more volume & body - I'm also aware that the airwrap isn't as damaging to hair so improved condition would also be bonus.

Would it be worth it to you think or should I stick with my dryer & GHDs

I have fine (coloured) hair but lots of it and my airwrap has been a game-changer. I’ve had one for 5 years now and my hair condition is much better than when I used GHDs/wands. When I have my hair curled/waved at the hairdressers without an airwrap it feels a bit crispy. It does take a little while to get the hang of it but once mastered it’s quick and efficient.

Ooh thank you! Your hair sounds very similar to mine so that's reassuring!

I have fine hair and it’s not worth the effort.

if I want waves I use my GHD straighteners

I have fine hair. Sent my air wrap back as it’s just looked more fluffy and flyaway, didn’t hold any style. I know some people love them but I’m just not compatible. Love my Dyson hairdryer though and want to try the fly away attachment.

It’s ok, not really worth the money tbh. Straighteners are miles better at getting rid of frizz.

I have fine hair and I love the Airwrap. Not for curling, but it's great for bouncy volume. And my hair is also in much better condition than when I used BBH.

Hmm I'm a bit torn now! Not too bothered about curls but I definitely want a bit of volume and frizz reduction. Might see if I can get one on a 30 day trial or whatever

Mine was on a 30 day trial. I had a cheapo air brush a few years back. Was about £30 ish, possibly revlon/remmington, bought Tesco. That was my saviour, I just didn’t appreciate it as much as I should.
