Super comfy but smart looking trousers

Do they existed?! Want something that i could literally lounge around in as I work from home and like to feel comfortable but also can go out in as I often have to pop out. I can never be bothered to get changed so just end up going out looking a right mess!
any suggestions, would be willing to pay £60/70 maybe £80 for right item but obviously bonus if cheaper!

Everlane Dream Pant

I have some stretch slim pull on ones from Hobbs that do. not. die. They're incredible quality and just keep going after being worn several times a week for almost 2 years now. I bought a second pair in a past sale as they're that good and my wardobe would not work without them. Don't know if they still make them but it might be worth looking there for a similar model. Bike, work, lounging, blazers, jumpers, whatever. magical garment

Keekabooyou · 14/01/2024 22:20

Just went to buy these magic pants but they are handwash only 🙄

Oxonc3 · 14/01/2024 23:44

I like Saint &Sofia but don’t find it washes well. My Finsbury’s went bobbly. Expected better quality at that price point. Have the Uniqlo/Comptoir ones which are a nice fabric. How do I stop stuff bobbling? The M&S wide legs not available in my size 😥

Roto15 · 15/01/2024 13:30

I was also going to suggest this, so comfy!

RunMum33 · 15/01/2024 16:03

These are the most comfy trousers I have ever worn. I've avoided them for years as I can never find the right texture or fit. But these are super comfy, soft and lovely and I never thought to look at Hollister but they are so nice. https://www.hollisterco.com/shop/uk/p/ultra-high-rise-pleated-wide-leg-pants-53293348

DisforDarkChocolate · 18/01/2024 08:12

15% of trousers with M&S Sparks at the moment.

RampantIvy · 18/01/2024 09:46

Thank you for the heads up @DisforDarkChocolate
My card says 20% off.
I think I will mosey on down after work.

Those are great.
Comfy but good quality material.

I always wash mine in the washing machine 30 degrees no fabric softener.

RhubarbRocks · 20/01/2024 18:57

MeandEm are amazing for trousers and their jersey palazzo pants are £59 (a great deal cheaper than most of the trousers they sell). Their trousers tend to be quite long but they also do a cropped version for the same price. https://www.meandem.com/palazzo-pant-dark-navy

do you have the me+em ones yourself? Do they come up long? I’m only 5’4

I see I wasn’t the first to point out the meandem ones! Get the cropped ones - https://www.meandem.com/crop-palazzo-pant-dark-navy
(I have the regular ones and they are a bit too long for me and I’m 5’7)

Crop Palazzo Pant | ME+EM

ME+EM's Dark Navy Crop Palazzo Pant is crafted from modal elastane jersey with a soft handfeel, making it a comfortable trouser to travel or lounge in on holiday. The adjustable roll-top waistband makes this ideal for new and expectant mothers as it is...

I have only got 15% off M & S jeans at the moment.

RampantIvy · 20/01/2024 20:54

What is this obsession with cropped trousers? It is January and I want my ankles covered.

MerryChristmasToYou · 20/01/2024 22:11

@RampantIvy , uses less fabric. Cheaper to produce.

littleteapot86 · 21/01/2024 10:26

I had the Finsbury by Saint and Sofia and they bobbled like crazy very quickly, I wouldn't recommend.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 21/01/2024 10:30

I got these from Oliver Bonas a couple of weeks ago and love them. Wear them wfh and have worn them to work too. They do them in corduroy too

My Finsbury trousers bobbled too, plus the other pair I also got from Saint & Sofia washed terribly and lost patches of colour. Huge waste of money.
