Warm rainproof coat for long cold matches

I am looking for a coat to keep me warm and dry on the Sunday morning when I am on rugby duty, which seem to be every single one of them.
I own a warm coat from Boden, now 5 years old, but the rain comes through and hubby hates it.
a blue second hand sea salt rain jacket - great for walking or in autumn, but so very cold on the pitch.
Any ideas? I am scared of the cost, but happy to go second hand

Lands end long length squall coat... always offers on.. Best long warm coat ever. Like wearing a waterproof duvet !!!

This is lovely - I wear it so much. Don't get the 2.0 version as I see they stuck a logo on the arm. This original version is logo less!
