Decluttering bras

Not really sure if this should go in Style&Beauty or Decluttering (will shove in both).

I have gazillions of bras - some quite pretty ones (Myla etc.) - but since I discovered Skims I just live in their stretchy wireless ones. Comfy, invisible, look good under clothes etc. Can't bring myself to chuck the fancy ones I spent a bloody fortune on back in the day but equally never find myself reaching for them. Anyone else find themselves in this situ?

No.

Every now again I put all my least worn bras to one side and try them on. If they immediately feel uncomfortable or don't fit well I put them in the charity bag. The ones that fitted and were comfortable I will wear for a day just to make sure. I keep the comfy ones, charity bag the others. I find this helps to keep them in control. Still think I have too many though! No point in keeping things you aren't ever going to wear.

There is a charity called ,'Smalls for all'. I have posted bras to them before. It helps with the declutterring process if you know the items can be re used.

Yes!
I had a lot of expensive underwired bras in different colours but I no longer want to wear underwires. It took me a couple of years to get to grips with this situation but I have now got rid of all the underwires to a charity shop. They were in great condition from good brands and I had spent a lot of cash on them.

I'm pleased that I let them go.

You can donate them in Bravissimo

No.

Our independent lingerie shop accepts bras and donates them to charity. After a professional bra fitting I donated all my old, incorrectly sizes bras. My boobs never change in size and shape so my bras last for years. They aren't uncomfortable either.

I second Smalls for All. I always add a few things from their Amazon Wish List

I've also gone through this process. It's hard because money was spent and the items are pretty. For me I put them in a storage bag in the back of the closet for a year before I could let go of them.

I could do with a decluttering bra. Is it a magic one that you put on and suddenly you become super-organised and minimalist?
