Oh, I may well still put some slap on. I really do feel like death without it. Its only ten to four, the day is still young.

unknownrebelbang · 15/03/2008 15:54

My day has ended, lol.

Just waved DH off to work, the boys have all gone off to the local park, and Mary Poppins is on in less than an hour.

Is it too early to open the alcohol DH has just thrust in my hand as he left??

Am I the only one who wears (a bit of) make up to the gym?

messagedeleted · 16/03/2008 15:49

Has your husband left you yet?

onepieceoflollipop · 16/03/2008 15:53

When I read the title I thought "ooh someone is in for a telling off if Cod sees this!" - then I saw she is the OP!

I sometimes get called out in the night (work) - vanity makes me apply powder to my nose and spot concealer if necessary. The lights in the hospital are very bright and I could not face going in completely bare faced.

foxinsocks · 16/03/2008 15:54

doesn't it all run (the make-up) at the gym?

Anna8888 · 16/03/2008 15:54

No make-up either... and I haven't even dyed my eyelashes for a month.

However, I did have a long bath, put on moisturiser and body lotion, blow-dried my hair and put on a dress

You haven't got a hotel - try Hôtel de Verneuil in the 7th, I always recommend it, I love it.

Take him to the Café de Flore on boulevard Saint-Germain for the history and the celeb spotting.

What kind of food do you/he like? Italian, Lebanese, French, Japanese...? My 12 year old stepson loves Amici Miei (pizza), Noura (Lebanese), Little Italy (pasta), Café Marly (at Louvre) and Georges (at Centre Pompidou) for French/all day. Tell me what sounds right and I'll give you details/more addresses.

Things to do - what's he interested in? How long have you got?
