If you were 14/15, what top would you wear with this skirt?

If you wouldn't wear it in the first place, too late I've bought it now.

My dd would wear that and she's 15

@Needmorelego ah ok. I would never have paired that skirt with a band t-shirt when I was 14/15 😂 It would have been with something skinny, strappy and brightly coloured in a stretchy artificial fabric (in the 90s)!😂

My just 16 yr old bought this skirt & wore it with a sheer top & white strappy vest underneath. She looked lovely.
The top was from Zara, like this but long sleeves.

Oh brilliant thank you! I bet she did look nice. I'll have a look at these tops.

I wouldn't have been confident enough to wear that at age 14/15, and wouldn't have had anywhere to wear it to. Also it was more acid house stuff/Madchester then and all baggy clothing, then grunge after that. Lovely skirt though. At age 20/21 in 1996 I'd have worn it with something like this:

Mohair 80's style jumper and thick tight or coloured fishnet tights.

They really can't say a single statement without including at least one 'like' and 'literally', can they? We're lucky if they don't throw in the fact that they 'died'.😉
