Spot treatment for dd

Hello. Dd who is 26 has all of a sudden in the past couple of months started getting clusters of spots on her chin/neck having not previously really ever suffered from this. Seem to clear up then a new batch appear.
They aren’t really bad but she’s quite concerned about them as she does a bit of modelling and is worried it will affect her jobs.
I think if she goes to doctors they will just chase her away as it’s not too bad.
Any suggestions what to use? She’s been using Cera ve for rough/bumpy skin but not sure if it’s the right thing or how long you have to use before it’s effective.
I know everyone is different but what has been good for you all?
Thank you.

You can go the gp for spots at any age. There’s NICE guidelines on how they have to treat it.

Thanks. She’s made an appointment. Let’s wait and see what they say.

Hi. My dd has been having similar problems so will be interested to hear how your dd gets on OP. I know in my area there is quite a wait for referrals to a dermatologist on the nhs, but for milder cases, the gp might be able to offer something to help.
What about Dermatica or Skin + Me as another options as others have recommended on previous threads?

I've suffered with similar all through my 20s. The only thing I've found that works is the 'Acnecide benzoyl peroxide wash'. It comes in a white and purple tube. It can be hit and miss, but occasionally I'll get a cluster of spots that it immediately works amazingly on. Must depend on what's caused them in each case; I know mine are probably mostly hormonal.
