Here we go. Let’s discuss and enjoy our advent calendars together.

It’s my second Cult Beauty calendar, last one was in 2021 it’s taken me two years to use up most of the items from that.

No spoilers before 7am please!

I have this, it’s absolutely beautiful. I think it may well be saved for next year to be refilled!

Not sure what to make of the 1st one. Is it like a primer?

It can be used as a primer after moisturiser and before applying make up. Or you can mix a few drops with your foundation. I had to look up on the website how to use it.

I think this'll be going into the holiday toiletries bag for me - apparently you can use it for an "all over glow on your face, chest, collarbones, shoulder and legs".

I have a couple of bottles of similar type stuff on the go from previous advent calendars.

Decent size bottle though and a strong start for day one!

I tried this out this morning and the texture was really nice. I just put it on over moisturiser and under makeup.

I need a new winter moisturuser and an eye cream so hope they will come up soon…

Love today’s candle, smells beautiful. I also find that Jo Loves have a more long lasting scent than actual Jo Malone candles.

I’m delighted with day 2, IIRC the candle has usually been much later on.

From the name of it, it’s a fragrance I never would have picked to buy, but actually it smells beautiful.

This smells really nice, I’m going to light it today. I’m guilty of having lots of Jo Malone candles that have never been lit as I always save them for another day!

For lurkers, would you mind specifying what you got please? Which primer? Which Jo Loves candle?

The candle is Roasted Chestnuts. It smells lovely.

impressed with the candle although I currently have Covid so cannot smell it yet!

Dqy 1 was Saie Glowy Super Gel and the Jo Loves candle today was Roasted Chestnuts.

Another good day! Dabbed some on and it feels lovely. Can always make use of a good eye cream. Only 3 days in and already very pleased to have changed from Liberty. Last year’s one was very meh. CB much better so far.

I’m always a bit scared of products that advise you to start slowly and build up how many times a week to use them.

However, I had an upper eyelid lift last year so I’m really into eye creams and looking forward to trying this tonight.

I’m happy with the Medik8 eye cream although I would have preferred one that could be used daily and am and pm, as I’ve used all of my eye creams up. I keep meaning to start using a retinol so maybe this will spur me on to incorporating it a few times a week together with a retinol face serum.

Kinship Supermelt vegan lip jelly mask today.

Smells and feels nice on. Not sure why it’s called a mask though as it’s pretty much just a balm / gloss!?

Agree, I wouldn’t describe this as a jelly mask, it’s a lovely lip balm though, it feels nice and luxurious.

i didn’t love the jelly mask, full marks for it being cruelty free but as a product it didn’t do much for me

I was looking forward to this but it can't be used on eyelids which is a pain

Nor me. Not very hydrating and my lips are really needing something

Disappointed by the hair gummies. An actual hair mask would have been useful.

I already take hair supplements anyway as I have quite fine hair, so happy to try these out. They seem to have decent reviews online.

Same. Coral Cutie. First time I’ve tried a cream blush and I’m converted. Lovely colour and easy to apply.

Still all good so far! Happy with the vitamins yesterday as I take biotin anyway.

And today’s blusher looks nice - I have the coral shade too. I opened it after I’d done my makeup so will try it tomorrow. It seems easy to blend but also looks like it might wear off quickly - we’ll see…
