A WOW perfume that lasts???

I love La Vie Est Belle and Angel because of the fragrance but also because of how long they last on my skin and how much other people, as well as myself, can smell them.

It needs to make a statement and pack a punch....subtlety is verboten!

Any ideas??

Byredo perfume lasts for ages.

It doesn't pack a punch though. It's more subtle and refined

@Pekkala I was wearing Coromandel today, love it.

My favourite lasting perfume is Frederic Malle's Portrait Of A Lady. You can smell it for days on your clothes. But it's pricey.

Divain are far better than Perfume Parlour. Not sure if I was unlucky but my PP purchases went straight in the bin!

Even Divain can’t recreate Shalimar though.

Anything with Oud in lasts and a little goes a long way. My students do have a habit of drowning themselves in it.

As others have mentioned, Portrait of a lady and Halfeti are fab for both longevity and impact. Carolina herrera good girl also good.

I LOVE the original good girl and it lasts all day . The pink blush one is nice too. Also versace Noir I can still smell that at the end of my shift.

A PP has already mentioned it but I love Valentino, the one in the pink box, and have been told by strangers a good handful of times how nice it is!

Magie Noir is another fabulously 'big' Lancôme fragrance. My DM's signature - a real 'grown up' perfume to me as a child and one I love now in my 40s.

@DelightfullyDotty if you read the reviews, some are spot on. DD loves Daisy and Daisy Drram and we cant tell the difference. For a while their copy of Gucci Envy(original) was spot on but they’ve changed an ingredient (but say they haven’t) and it’s not quite there for me which is a shame as it’s discontinued.
Also the rollerball oils are exact copies as no alcohol added to enable the spray.They last longer too.

You need pure parfum, regardless of the scent. Eau de toilette lasts approx 2 hours on skin, eau de parfum lasts 4h, and pure parfum lasts 8h plus.

It's not cheap, at all, but it's better vfm if you're looking for something that will last all day. I only use it when I'm out for longer than an evening. I get lots of compliments! It can be smelled without being overpowering to others in the room - a perfect balance.

I like Coco Chanel pure parfum.

This one was bought for me by chance .. usual quick dash in the airport must get the wife something .. the only good thing to come out of my marriage apart from my children. Absolutely love it! Everyone comments on the smell and it lasts all day.

The zara dupe for YSL Libre called Golden decade lasts and projects really well, I have comments every time I wear it. When looking for a cheaper version of Guerlain Amarige I discovered Elizabeth Taylor Emeralds and Diamonds and Avons Rare gold both last and project really well and are a bargain!

My DD wears Stella (but that;s been discontinued ) I noticed it on her clothes when I do the laundry , it is lovely .

I try and find a perfume that I like but I fail every time Sad
I bought a sample box of Penhaligin but each one gave me the heave (and I couldn't just wipe it away , it does have longevity ) !

I love the smell of Nuxe on someone else .

Another vote for Miller & Harris's Scherzo. It makes me really happy and does last.

I also really enjoy Estee Lauder's Knowing. It really packs a punch, to the point where I wonder about just dabbing on a few molecules with a cotton bud!!!!!!!

Make sure you try it on, though. The first whiff is a bit scary, but it changes into something else on my skin within about half an hour.
