What do you think of these?

Go on, honest opinions! I liked them last year but they were out of stock. Are they a bit...blokey for a night out or smarter dressing?

@TizerorFizz , I don't like brogues generally (unless the broguing is particularly good), but I have some plainish derby shoes that are 3 or 4 eyelet and they fit like gloves. The lacing isn't a problem.

I don't like the look of loafers and the ones I tried were uncomfortable. They're not for me.

If you have only tried one pair, that’s not much to go on! Lace up shoes are ok and I have several pairs but the loafers are much more versatile.

I got these a month ago, very comfy, I dress quite plainly so thought these would balance that out

Very different answers here! It really depends on 'you' doesn't it, and your style. I like quite gamine looks where it's a bit androgynous and sharp as well as feminine, and I wouldn't go near to a pair of stilettos, they're fine on anyone else, but for me I'd feel like I've been in the dressing up box. Not to mention I can't tolerate sore feet!

I love them . I love funky shoes and think they lift every outfit.

I love them too, but I'd wonder how much wear I'd get out of suede at this time of year.

I think they could look great with a certain look, and if you have nice ankles that you like emphasising -- I think they'd look good with wide-legged culottes, for instance...?

I suppose the point TizerorFizz is making that one shoe in a certain style being uncomfortable doesn't mean all shoes in that style will be.

The only pair of Doc Martens I ever had were torture but I've had many other flat, Doc Martens style lace up ankle boots which are really comfortable.

Obviously if you don't like the style at all looking for a comfortable pair is irrelevant

I love a chunky loser but there's just so much going on with these I'm not sure how I feel! The yellow stitching mixed with the colour and the tassels and the gold hardware makes my head hurt 😂
