Any ideas why the Dyson Airstrait still hasn't been released in the UK yet?!

I don't get it. It's a British company. It was released in the US, Canada etc at the start of May, yet still no sign of a release date yet. Anyone in the know understand why there's such a delay to rolling it out here?

Well by way of an update….I switched it on….up popped the digital Dyson logo…..and it cut out! No functionality whatsoever. I tried on multiple plug sockets around the house. Currently on hold to Customer Services ha. They are pretty useless too: told me the my were going to do some troubleshooting, put me on hold for 20 minutes and then saying, no, they’re actually just going to exchange it

I'm glad they're replacing it, though - I hope the replacement turns up soon, and works(!)

Also, the plug is enormous!! Book for reference 😂

Has anyone else tried this yet? I have very long and VERY curly hair and am debating getting one because it takes me best part of an hour with my Cloud 9's. Lot of money to fork out though 🤔

Huge plug and it doesn't even come in a case with that price tag. Just packed in a cardboard box. Can't use it overseas and huge plug doesn't fit easily if you gave skirting board etc. will be sending it back.

My hair has a natural wave & is prone to humidity-induced frizz…it was no good for me. It took longer than it would to rough dry & straighten, it is bloody heavy and the plug is a joke (as above). I didn’t even know you couldn’t use it abroad, so that’s another negative.

It straightens nicely on already dry hair, but the wet-to dry left my hair still slightly kinky and I couldn’t get the roots dry, so they frizzed up. I will also be returning.
